Week 10, 11, 12

Honestly, isolation hit at its worst and I was struggling with motivation, energy and general creativity while juggling 2 jobs and other uni assignments.

Week 11 is tough. Hristo (the composer) is having some tough time and he needs to stop working for a while. Joe and I are moving towards the backup plan - using pre-made music and fitting it together.

The last month has been very tough emotionally, so I am learning from it and trying to apply it to the research project. I am exploring a new method of work, not by choreographing and fixing sections but by improvising (with some exceptions) all scenes on different music, have a lot of footage and later pick and mix and edit to create what I was aiming for initially. I guess the pandemic will teach me how to be flexible in the most extreme way possible.

I have also been hating on my body quite a lot and I am learning gently to look at myself

We started testing out filming on the green screen and how to DIY the whole process. Which isn't as easy as we thought it would be. I also filmed my in-real-life scenes on the beach, when travelling to the sea side for work
